Scenes Seen… Added A Portfolio: Seems I Do Concert & Performance Photos Now.

This happened organically. I never once set out to do live performance photography.
If I had to guess where it started it was The Continental Club. My introduction to the venue came by way of an invite to show my work there. And I did.
Then I had a second showing. Preston…
…insisted I put work up for sale this time and without my even being there it sold one night.
That is when I met percussionist Michael Roberto.
Soon after was when I discovered that they have live music also. It was the night I went there to support a performance by Michael.
Then I went to other performances.
Somewhere in this timeline I stumbled upon a live performance by Dior Ashley Brown in Durham.
To add to that Cesar…
…asked me to cover a Punk Rock Concert at a local venue for him…
…and I had a great time.
Then I started going to second and fourth Thursday night Jazz performances at The Continental Club…
…and the kind folks there even let this bass/baritone/tenor on the mic from time to time.
Then Preston asked me to come out and photograph some new artists.
And then I came back out to photograph artists from that night. First Bluejay…
…and most recently Cameron.
Again. It was a great time. Then one of the bands tagged me.
This is when it struck me. I have myself quite a few concert and performance photos to share. So I added another gallery to my portfolio page.
Please check out the portfolio link above for all of the photos I shared. I will add some of my favorites after the close.
Happy capturing.
