The usual. Photography as a distraction. Much needed nowadays.
The setting.
A local live music and art venue, The Continental Club.
The occasion.
…reached out Saturday and asked that I come out to The Continental Club. I always have my finger on the pulse (not really), so my question was for what? To which he replied with this flier.
Music, you say? Count me in.
The rig.
Arguably, the most well-rounded camera I have ever used.
The lens..
Aka, precious prime. My Swiss Army knife do-anything lens… mostly. Also deployed the demi precious for a few pics.
The bag of primes lens that displaced a host of faster than f/2 prime lenses I had, including a SIGMA Art 35mm f/1.4. With no regrets.
The photos.

Next up was singer and songwriter Ra^en. Writes and sings her own music and plays multiple instruments. Well. Impressive.
