Analog Therapy, This Old Lens, & A Car Show: Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 – Canon T70 – Fujifilm 400.
As stated in a recent post…
…a friend gifted me some film gear.
I received two zoom lenses.
- Vivitar FD 28-70mm f/3.5-4.8 Macro
- SIGMA FD 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 w/ case
I tested both of these lenses.
I swiftly ran through a roll of film with the first lens above. But in the midst of testing the second lens after I obtained enough images for a blog post I switched to the Canon FD 50mm f/1.8.
Ah, back home. Nifty fifties will always be my preference with film SLRs.
The film.
Fujifilm 400 developed with Cinestill CS41.
The camera.
I like looking at and holding the classic Canon AE1 Program. I prefer using the T70.
The reason is simple. Program Tele mode which leans towards shooting a lens as wide open as possible.
The occasion.
An intern I mentor at my day job…
…told me about a car show this weekend. He planned to have a car in the show. Count me in.
The pics.
Thoughts.
Nifty fifties never disappoint.
Also a great event and great cars.
Happy capturing.
