Scenes Seen: Rokinon/Samyang Remaster Slim 32mm f/2.8.

Subtitle: Still trying to fend off Viltrox Pancake G.A.S..

I recently wrote a So… post about the Viltrox EVO 26mm f/2.8.

So… The Viltrox AF 26mm f/2.8 EVO Lens. Nice.

The goal of these posts is to fend off new gear fever. In this case, I went on a bit about why the Remaster Slim has me covered.

But I still kind of want the Viltrox. So I decided to take my favorite Remaster lens module, the 32mm f/2.8, out and about to see if it is as good as I remember.

Spoiler alert: It is.

Thoughts.

For now, I will be keeping the Remaster Slim kit and not picking up the Viltrox.

And not for the reasons I listed in the last post. There is one thing I had not considered.

32mm.

I personally prefer this focal length over the 26mm Viltrox pancake.

So… I still want the Viltrox because it exists, but for now I am good.
