Scenes Seen: GFX + ROKKOR 58mm f/1.2.

Subtitle: This set up had definitely boosted my scenes seen image capturing output.

The motivation.

The usual. Photography as a distraction. Much needed nowadays.

The setting.

Took the rig wherever I went.

The rig.

Officially an all time favorite.

Minolta MC Rokkor PG 58mm f/1.2

So much so that, whether the situation fits or not, it is what I would prefer to use. And when used within the realm of realistic expectations, it never disappoints. More on this will be outlined below.

One of th ereasons I like this rig so much is that along with a rangefinderish experience it also closely approximates the look of film. For example here is a film pic I took of the same scene.

Thoughts.

So… mimics a rangefinder experience… mimics a film experience…

And then I can slap a native GFX lens on it, and it can do this.

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

This years old camera sits at the crossroad of every one of my individual image capturing favorites.

Happy capturing.
