Vintage Digital… This Old Lens/Father & Son Gallivanting: Pentax-FA 35mm f/2… Pentax Lens Scope Creep Part 1.
This lens is great. But I already knew that. I have owned its successor. The HD variant made for digital.
A fantastic lens. I did not own it for long.
My stated reason for acquiring this lens was that I wanted a 50mm full frame equivalent lens for my recently acquired APS-C camera.
But if I am honest there are a few photos that have stuck with me.
Digital…
…and film.
So I picked up the least expensive film era non HD copy I could find online.
Not much for a fast prime. But, somewhat ironically, at $180 it cost more than the film and digital I bought to use it with combined.
But it was worth it.
Enough talk.

Brought it along as I went early in the morning to take a look at a wedding venue I was shooting later that day. There will be more blog posts about the wedding.
On to the Father & Son Gallivanting.
Thoughts.
There was no surprise here.
I expected it to be great. And it is great.
Glad to have it once again.
