The motivation.

The usual. Photography as a distraction. Much needed nowadays.

The setting.

Two venues.

The Lobby of the O’Henry.

A local live music and art venue, The Continental Club.

GF1

The rig.

Arguably, the most well-rounded camera I have ever used.

The lens..

Aka, the precious. More on how it went after the photos.

Thoughts.

About the lens.

It is official. For me, prime lenses are now optional. With modern cameras handling high ISOs so well, any aperture advantage is easily offset by variable focal lengths at the twist of a wrist.

In general.

A great night.

Great people.

Great music.

So much talent right here near me.

Cool.

Happy capturing.
