Event? My son said he wanted to go galavanting, as we do, and that his girlfriend told him that Krispy Kreme donuts had a buy a dozen donuts, get a second dozen for some ridiculously small sum.
I was in at galavanting… Let’s ride!
I am a Yankee that grew up on Dunkin but I am not mad at anyone’s donut… That sounded wrong somehow… Moving on. As I have ranted about previously I do not do emotional allegiances towards for profit entities. Anyhoo… Brought along a favorite camera and my second favorite lens for that camera.
This galavanting session took us by my Father’s grave site which my son documented.
On to Krispy Kreme. We first tried one nearest to us, but after some less than brilliant parking lot antics, we bailed and chose to go to a Krispy Kreme in a nearby more populous hamlet. This was a good decision. Experienced more antics but more of the humorous sort while making conversation with a friendly security staff person from a local university. My son and I know way more about this person than we would have expected. Chose a film I like to use from time to time, Lomography Lomochrome Metropolis, shot at ISO 100, and developed with Cinestill CS41. Here are all 37 (Thank you for the extra frame Contax.) images.
A fine evening spending quality time with my son.
