This is another post of me trying to play blog post catch up. The usual pattern is some pictures, some blog posts, some pictures, some blog posts, etc. Recently this shifted to pictures, pictures, pictures, and so forth. While pictures have not slowed much, there has been enough of a lull where I can get back to it.
Motivation.
Recently picked up an old DSLR that I really like.
I brought this analog rig along with that camera.

…really challenges the need or desire for more expensive film cameras.
The results below reinforce this line of thinking.

Documenting 100 Men In Black for a week including rehearsal night and singing the anthem at a Durham Bulls baseball game. Our first performance of this song since Kap took a knee 10 years ago.

On to the staging area.
On to the field. It was college night so the mascots from local colleges were in attendance.
Thoughts.
In that post mentioned above I made the case for buying an SLR instead of much more expensive vintage and modern film cameras.
These pictures above for $33? A no brainer if you are thinking of dipping a toe into analog photography.
It breaks or grows legs? Buy another. Keep it going. No brainer.

One more post to come on that same day with one of the new cameras on the block. Spoiler alert. It did no better.
