Analog Therapy/A Quick Lap Around A local Downtown: Fujifilm GA645 Professional – CatLABS X 100 Color.

Had quite a day at work. Good. But quite a day. Needed a distraction. Analog therapy if you will.

Camera.

The ridiculously consistent and great performing Fujifilm GA645.

Fujifilm GA645 Professional

Blasts through 120 film so fast it is a good thing that I develop my own film or this thing would savage my wallet.

Film.

CatLABS X 100 Color. A favorite of mine.

Have bought and run through many rolls of 35mm and 120 versions. Sadly, I hear at my local camera shop that it is no longer for sale… So, I bought all 5 rolls of the 120 variant they had on hand. Turns out I had one left from last time and ran through that recently.

Occasion.

As stated above blowing off steam after a work day. For the location I cut a lap around a local downtown area.

Developed with Cinestill CS41. Here are the pics.

I call this one: <Inhales sharply.> I knew I blew the focus as I shot blindly over a construction partition because I heard the focus ratchet in, and I was almost hit by a car right after, and now I see what tripped up the AF because I had dipped the camera down while in a rush and caught the fence in the foreground. Could have fixed the tilt and pretended it was an artistic decision, but decided to leave it as is. A cautionary tale to stay out of the street near a blind corner in a construction area.

Candidate for my favorite pic of the set.

Thoughts.

Great camera.

Great film.

Another successful analog therapy session.

Happy capturing.
