Analog Therapy: Rollei 35AF – Fujifilm 200.
Subtitle: Scenes Seen and a photography class.
I put up a formal review post, but the short of it is that this is a favorite camera of mine. Those thoughts all pretty much align with the “So…” post I wrote a while back.
The film this go around is my second roll of Fujifilm 200 through this camera. A solid and consistent color film. Developed with Cinestill CS41.
Occasion. Varied. Running errands and hanging out with my wife. A few pics in Charlotte. Finished the roll in a class I took in Charlotte. Here are the pics.
Thoughts on the film.
I like it. A regular that always keep on hand.
Thoughts on the camera.
Have heard some comments on the AF noise. No. It is not silent, but I have found that the ambient noise in most scenarios is to mask the sound. For the last pic above, no cars were moving, no horns were blaring, nor was there any audible engine noise, but I could not hear the AF or shutter noises while it was held at my side. I was not even sure I had taken the photo until I checked the shutter button and saw that it was pushed it waiting on me to wind the film on.
Welp, that is about it.
Happy capturing.
