As much as makes no sense, since I have two GF native AF lenses at my disposal,…

GF 50mm f/3.5.

GF 80mm f/1.7

…but if given a preference, I choose a manual focus lens…

…intended for a completely different mount.

There is a future post going into more detail on this rolling around in my head, but for now, suffice it to say… I like this combination a lot. So much so that if at all possible, it is the pairing I will bring with me.

And that was the case on yesterday. A film kit was the main event. And it was wonderful, but this is what I used before, during, and after my analog therapy session.

Thoughts.

I say again… I love this pairing. It is quite a pleasant surprise, because this was not at all by design. A fortunate bout of serendipity is all.
