Analog Therapy/A Protest/Skipping A Superbowl: Rollei 35AF + 2 Films.
When this camera arrived I went on a roll of film a day or more tear. Not planned. Just the way it happened. This is a fun and easy camera to use that yields great results.
I also wrote a review of it on B&H. Some do not hold the same opinion about this camera. Petapixel listed it as the worst camera of the year in their end of year wrap up video. And a recent 35mmc post did not put it in the best light either. I added a reference to the latter in my review for some balance.
I also put up a 5 frames 35mmc post. I have created the first Rollei 35AF camera entry on Lomography.com, a Flickr group, and as always a Flickr album. The Camera wiki website even used my image for its Rollei 35AF page.
This last weekend I took the Rollei 35AF with me to a protest. Has my opinion of it changed?
Nope.
Still awesome as far as I am concerned.
Used Kodak Gold 200 and Fujifilm 400, processed with Cinestill CS41, and scanned with my trusty old Epson V600
Occasion. As mentioned a protest. I will not languish on my beliefs but I will say that I am a registered independent with a decidedly pro functioning prefrontal cortex and anti sociopath lean. Enough of that. From long ago I do not do Superbowls so I did not miss anything. I can catch the half time show on YouTube later. I am biased because GNX is currently playing on loop in my car. Anyhoo. Here are my keepers.
Thoughts.
Both films are great.
Read somewhere on FB that this next four years will pass, but like a kidney stone. About sums it up for me.
Happy capturing.
