This New Film Camera: Pentax 17 Second Roll. Kodak Gold 200.
I will mostly stick to the title with a little elaboration at the end. For more about the camera, my first thoughts post can be found here and the first roll can be found here.
Here we go. Kodak Gold 200…

Thoughts.
Seems I am prone to rushing in extreme heat which brings about fat fingers in pics. I did not bother scanning some frames it was so bad. I do not blame the camera at all. I just need to be more mindful.
This lens is amazing. Utterly removes any concern about IQ being impacted by the camera being half frame. A tool for a certain task. Capturing what is before me, not extreme detail and poster sized images. And it is great for that task.
I have cameras that provide great detail and they also return relatively few exposures per roll. Which causes me to be hesitant to take a pic and regret any errors. But this camera with its ease of use and copious exposures I let it rip. As a result I had fun, threw caution to the wind, and snapped away. Some… did not pan out. Others were pleasant surprises. And I still ended up with plenty of pics I really like. And that is the point of this camera.
There is no such thing as a perfect camera. Including this one. But there are a few that really shine at a specific thing and this camera is one of them.
That is about it.
Happy capturing.
