Analog Therapy: Fujifilm GA645 – Kodak Gold 200… A Digital Cleanse.

Scroll down to content

I prefer film. As documented in recent posts I recently had work that called for digital gear. Digital does not quite cut it for me. If I had to guess it has to do with the whole not sure what you have, enjoy the moment, and meditative qualities of developing and scanning the film… If I had to guess. So a return to film was in order.

Camera choice? Easy. A rock solid recent analog addition.

The film was an easy choice also. Kodak Gold 200.

Years ago I wrote a post stating that Lomography 400 was my favorite film. I have recently realized that this has changed. It has always been a film that I liked. Great colors, sharp, reasonably priced, and plays well with Cinestill CS41. But since that post, Kodak added 120 film to the mix. That moved the needle considerably. I had purchased a box recently and was gifted a box for letting a film only photographer friend use my EOS 5D kit for a photo shoot. So there will be a lot of Kodak Gold pics seen up in here for a while. Cool. Welp… Here are the surviving frames from a recent roll.
