Decided to rotate through from Vintage Digital back to Analog Therapy again. Took a minute to decide on the film to use and settled on good old reliable Kodak Gold 200. An all time favorite of mine whether in 35mm…
…or 120 form.
The camera choice was easy. A recent acquisition is shaping up to be the best all around film camera I own paired with one of my favorite all time lenses.
For the photos I decided to push both the film and the camera. I usually use Kodak Gold 200 in daylight but with the sun setting I decided to choose it anyway. Was also curious how the camera would do metering with a film in the dark. AF would be tested as well. No real plan. Photos were taken on a routine outing to pick up food and stop by my local camera shop. This time to see if any old, used EF lenses showed up. They had not so I kept it moving. All went well I must say. Any images lost were due to hubris of the user pushing things to an unrealistic level. As usual, I developed the film at home with Cinestill CS41 and here are the surviving frames.
Last thoughts.
Kodak Gold 200 did as well at night as it does during the day. Camera and lens did not miss a step metering and focusing as expected. A fine bit of analog therapy.
Happy capturing.
