Aka, low expectations are pretty freeing. The background story once again:

All started so innocently. A kind friend gifted me some Kodak Portra 160 120 film that has been in their freezer since 2006. (Thank you very much Rev. Kenneth Brooks.)

Developed at home with Cinestill CS41. With the film being free to me and expired, normal restrictions were removed. Add in the self metering wunder camera…

Thoughts on the film? Low expectations met. And I like it. Past excursions with this lot of expired film has shown that a lot of light can cover many ills. But I rather like the milky haze in the shadows here. With only one roll left I will send this film off in a more dignified manner, but I really do like these images. Until then…
