Can a lens make this a vintage digital-ish post?… Nah. Not really. But a camera released in 2012 will.
With a lens this wide at f/5.6 it is pretty much a point and shoot at infinity on the M240. And that is exactly how I used the lens the day I took these photos. The irony of zone-focusing with a rangefinder camera is not lost on me. Could use the lens the same way with any camera adapted admittedly… But would it look this good?
I am just kidding… Sort of. Anyhoo. I set it up and let it rip without a single care about focusing. Great colors and sharpness. As stated in a few posts including this Artisan lens run down for 35mmc.com…

…this is a fantastic lens. Here are my favorites taken while going about my day. Some new scenes. Some repeats. Some questionable framing here and there. Nothing Earth-shattering. But as usual, I had fun. Could I have taken some or all with a phone? Perhaps. Would I have personally? No. My mind just does not work that way. Yet another strong argument for my bringing a dedicated image-capturing device everywhere I go.
