Analog Therapy/Scenes Seen: Pentax *ist + FA 28mm f/2.8 + Ilford HP5

Recently wrote a post about using photography to cope, get out of the house, and get out of the car. I recently took another opportunity to get through a roll of film. The mission. Get through all 36 exposures in one day to document proceedings. The chosen tool of the day is one of the affordable and capable little cameras that I have ever come across.

Paired it with a great lens.

A pairing far better than it has any business being. My motivation was simple. I wanted to develop a roll of film that night. Nothing more. Nothing less. As day drifted into night, I could have used a higher ISO than 400 but I made do. As you do with film. Your ISO is your ISO. Took it along on my chorus rehearsal. Made my peace with losing some exposures by pushing this kit’s capabilities. The *ist does focus swiftly for what it is. But it is a film camera after all. Many digital cameras would not have met the challenge, but it did quite well. Rose to the challenge far more times than it fell on its face.

On to the film. Ilford HP5 again this day. As usual, developed with Cinestill df96.

Nothing Earth shattering. Here are the surviving images that I chose to share.
