Have used this lens with a full frame Sony camera before.
But this time I wanted to see how the lens would do with more MP behind it.
As came as little surprise it did just fine.
For a bit of snapshot overkill, I took the pairing with me while going about my day. This day included a brief stop by a local antique shop. Grandaddy’s Antique Mall to be precise.
Had been told that they had some old cameras in there. This should have been a sign to keep away, but there is no resisting such an opportunity. At first, it reminded me of a small store that closed some time ago in Chapel Hill, Nite Gallery. But that store is much smaller. This place looks like a couple of football fields in size. And in this space there seemed to be something interesting at every turn. I started out thinking I would find my way to the cameras, but I quickly became distracted and realized that if I did not ask where they were I might still be roaming about at closing time. And I had someone to pick up soon. Case in point I did not know I wanted a NY State license plate (My home state.), but now I have one. In my photos, you will see some nice camera gear. All for reasonable sums. But most of my pictures sample the offerings available, and there was so much more that I did not get to. I definitely will be going back.
