I recently wrote a couple of posts about this lens, including one about the set up I used for this post.
It is a non-traditional set up that nets a great result.
- A rangefinder-ish body style.
- More compact than an M mount camera or even an APS-C Fujifilm X-Pro body.
- Seem appropriate to use it with a rangefinder lens.
- A good aesthetic and form factor fit.
- Adds AF to the equation.
- As much as I enjoy using this lens with rangefinder cameras I also enjoy being about to swiftly acquire focus with Eye AF.
All wins and no losses in my book. Not suitable for video, but this is a stills rodeo.
