Recently picked up the last Pentax 35mm film SLR ever produced, from 2003 to 2006, the Pentax *ist.
As stated in my recent review it is a great camera with a jacked up name. In that post I shared a few images from the test roll of Lomography 400. Here I share photos taken with a second roll of Rollei RPX 400.
In the last post, I bounced between different lenses. This time out I stuck to one lend throughout, the refreshed digital era Pentax HD 35mm f/2. It performed perfectly as expected.
Proved to be a fantastic analog pairing. Performance wise I would put it in the same league as many more aspirational brands. As an added bonus this combination not only looked the business but was quick to focus and very light and small making for a perfect walkabout image capturing solution.
