Had a bright idea. WIll not ever do it again.
I recently wanted to take a spin through Duke Gardens, but the sun is dropping early nowadays. Then I remembered. I have AF at f/1.2 at my disposal.. Let’s do this.
Then I got there. The lens performed far better than expected. It was dusk when I got there and was completely dark soon after I arrived. Focused without issue. Managed color shots even though I was dealing with nearly no light. So what was the problem?
I was traipsing around Duke Gardens with camera gear after dark… alone. Others had more sense than I and had hoofed it out of there soon after I arrived. Should know better. I will not be doing that again…
