Scanner Files: Lomography 800 and Yashica MAT LM.
If you ever do purchase a medium format film camera the hands down bang for buck champ is a Yashica TLR. Looking at negatives from a roll I ran through and just had developed at SE Camera there is no real justification I can come with for the price difference compared to interchangeable lens cameras or Rollei TLRs. Plus when I have an interchangeable lens medium format camera I mostly shoot with only one lens anyway. A normal equivalent.
Have already written a full post about this camera, linked above and featured in another post here, so I will try and keep this short. This camera is ridiculously simple to use. Light, compact, easy to load, and easy to focus. Plus it creates quite a pleasing image. And this medium format camera with built in lens can be had for less than many so so 35mm cameras. While the light meter actually works on this camera I use a light meter. With case this is such a relatively compact camera rig…
…I leave the Sekonic at home and use a phone light meter app. This one specifically.

Works quite well.
On to the photos. Will show all 12 photos even though some are safety shots and some were taken just to finish the roll as an indicator of how easy it is to use this camera. 12 of 12 is a regular occurrence with this camera.
