Scored a free manual Minolta 50mm f1.7 MD lens as part of a gift and picked up a 135mm f2.8 MD lens (that brought a free vintage hard/zipper case as a bonus from BH Photo Video). The Minolta X-700 with these very good lenses has been great fun, but these lenses have been underutilized because of the whole film development thing. Solution? Have a mirrorless? Score a Minolta MD to mirrorless (Samsung NX in my case) adapter on the interwebs for $19 (Amazon more specifically in this case) and you get this:

You can spend more (up to over $200 in this case), but I cannot work out why just yet. Anyhoo here is a gallery of the first results and I am pleased. -ELW
