Have you ever pondered the possibility that all of this Android vs. iPhone nonsense (and to a lesser extent BB, WM8, and the like) is just the geekery equivalent of a rapper’s beef, or a WWF-esque rivalry intended to garner page clicks, breathless map/purple ring-apocalypse fluff news driven ad revenue, manufactured hype, and increased sales for all involved? Just a thought. Perhaps it is just my capitalist focused ‘all cogs of a larger machine’ cynicism peeking out again.
