I yammer on about a lot of cameras, but this is the only camera I would own if I had to have just one camera, full stop. Sony A7RV.
Why? I am glad I imagined that you asked. It does everything well. As simple as that.

- Insanely competent AF.
- The best back screen in existence.
- Great colors.
- Best lens selection of any camera.
- So on and so forth.
Lens.
A bag of primes that replaced a few lenses quite handily.

Hanging out with my son. Galavanting, as we call it.
Life has been lifing quite a bit lately. He and I want to make sure we do not allow the challenges to outweigh the good. To that end we make sure to spend time together hanging out. Alwaysinvolves talking. Often includes photography. This time, we added breaking bread in Greensboro.

I had a slight concern that I would miss the f/1.4 of the SIGMA 35mm Art lens I traded towards this lens. Nope. f/1.8 does just fine.
We took a quick spin through a nearby market.
Thoughts.
Add it along with the primary precious, the Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8, and those would be the only lenses I would need if I were a sensible man… But I am not. Anyhoo…
