Scenes Seen: NYC, A Homegoing Service, An X100VI, & A Phone. Part 4. Heading Home.
Subtitle: Quite the weekend.
Life has thrown quite a bit at me lately. All will be fine in the end. However, it has been a challenging week. One of those things was a funeral for my Aunt in Harlem.

Went to pay my respects. Went to support my cousin at this time. Pushed past my hesitancy to attend funerals since my Father passed away. So a bit taxing emotionally. So, as usual, photography came to my rescue.
Instead of separating pics from the trip into different posts, I will include them all in this one.
As I got a gander at how many pics I took, I decided to break these posts up instead.
Another post will be dedicated to the preferred tool used. I spent more time deciding what camera gear to bring than I spent packing clothes. But in the end, I could have brought just one.
The funeral and family dinner were wrapped up the day before, and now it is time to head home.
My cousin’s flight was cancelled due to the weather, so I made a stop through Manhattan to pick them up for a ride home. A little snow escorted us out of town.
Off to pick up my cousin.
My cousin and I talked about family and caught up on the way home. Only took one more pic on the way home after dropping them off in VA.
A good trip, but better to be back home.
Happy capturing.
