Scenes Seen: GFX + Yashica CY 28mm f/2.8.
Subtitle: A pivot from M mount to CY.
An addendum. Added photos from a day after with this same combination.
The camera.
The lens.
The setting.
A few pics taken out and about.
On to the next day.
Thoughts.
Why the subtitle:
A pivot from M mount to CY.
Pretty straightforward. I had M mount lenses before. And I also had a set of CY lenses. It then dawned on me that since I am adapting and no longer have an analog M mount camera, I do not need both M and CY lenses.
That manual focus experience that worked so well with M mount glass works just as well with CY glass.
A great two screen manual focus aid that can be used through the EVF and puts me in the mind of a rangefinder experience. However, the real trick is that you can use it with the back-tilt screen.
Tilt the screen up or sideways and low and high angles are on the table as well.
Welp. Enough of that.
Happy capturing.
