MINT Customer Service: The Rollei 35AF Is Complete Again.
This should be a short one. Let’s see what happens.
A big thank you to @gary228ho and @rollei35af.
The camera:
I heart it.
An excellent, consistent tool for creating wonderful images.
Garnered a repost of one of my photos by MINT of Japan themselves.
Heck, even Camera Wiki reached out to ask if they could use my picture of the camera for their page.

And even better, the few nits I had to pick with the Rollei 35AF were solved by repeated use. Now sat at 28 rolls through it, after repeated use, the film rewind lever… rewinds easily. The film back that took a bit of brute force to free from the camera now comes off without issue.
The issue?
A screw came loose and fell out.
So I tagged Gary Ho in the Instagram post above. And he commented to me that he would send a replacement.

Nice. So after a few messages, they were on the packaged arrived with two screws.
Nice.
The screwdriver small enough to install it that I ordered arrived today, and we are back in business.
As an added bonus, I tightened the screw on the other side that had loosened a bit.
Ok. Wrapping up.
Great camera.
Cool owner.
Great customer service.
Happy capturing.
