Analog Therapy/Two Events, Four Posts: 2 of 4; Low Rider Show & Lomography 100.

What a week, huh?… Eesh. That is enough of that.

As I stated on an Instagram post related to these images I am about to share here:

One of my favorite things about photography is that it gets me out of the house and off of the screens capturing beauty hiding in plain sight and reminds that there are glimmers of light in a world that can seem so dark.

No. This does not make the bad go away. It is still there. But even at the worst of times, there are glimmers of hope. Something the human spirit can hang on to as it clings to hope for the future… <ahem> Pictures.

Started with a lowrider car show that Cesar sent me a flyer for. I am always down for a lowrider show, if I can make it. Then Cesar found out about a nearby Folk Festival. So, both events it is. Two cameras are in play this day. Both medium format. Both Fujifilm. One film…

..and one digital.

There will be two posts per camera. The film posts will be defined by the film used. The digital posts will be separated by event.

This is the first film post.

All film photos were taken at the lowrider show. The film used is a favorite of mine. Lomography 100. Developed with Cinestill CS41 and scanned at home. Here are the pics.

Needed to kill a few more frames when I noticed an old timey looking dry cleaner and water tower.

Happy capturing.
