Scenes Seen: A Local Car Show.
This post starts the way a few have…
I was sent a flyer for a car show near me. I have been to a few now, courtesy of a regular heads up from Cesar.
For this one, I met Cesar near the car show, and we walked over. Gibsonville was the town. A nice little town, even though it has the sketchiest metal stairs I have ever seen to a road crossing bridge.
For image capturing, the main tool involved a lens rather than a camera.
This lens became an instant car show star the first time I used it.
So even though I traded on the image-capturing device that sat behind the lens for this picture, the lens remained.
So from this…
..to this.
On to the pics. First, the walk to the car show.
The footbridge in question.
And the aforementioned steps of death.
Now for some cars seen on the way to the cars.
Back to the trek.
Then we arrived.
Car show pics over. Time to eat. More to come on this camera in future posts.
That is a wrap. Bonus round. The other Fujifilm camera I had on me.
Headed out. The stairs mentioned earlier from a different angle.
Thoughts.
Two thoughts come to mind.
- I really like using that Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.2 for car pics.
- Nice to have a giant sensor and a fast lens.
- I can make images I like with many image capturing devices.
- A giant sensor and a fast lens are nice to have, but are not a requirement.
Happy capturing.
