Scenes Seen: Sony ZV-1 + A Road Trip + A Concert.
As stated here…
…the plans this day included a couple of hours travel to sing with 100 Men In Black Male Chorus. Was particularly excited this day, a rare occurence for your humble stoic, because we were trucking out a favorite song of mine that I get to co-lead this day. I wanted to record it. Combine that with me singing a compact camera was in order. A compact video recording solution, you say? I know just the thing to bring.
Add in a recently acquired new Sony grip. I had the first gen grip…
…that I traded on when I sold on the first ZV-1 I had. Having since repurchased the ZV-1 I opted for the newly released removable remote grip this time. And I was stoked. I get to sing, play with new camera geartoys, and write about it all? Cool.
One problem.
After a pretty lengthy program I got so amped when it was time for us to sing that I forgot to turn the camera on…
Oops.
All is well. We sing again next weekend. Another opportunity.
Plus there is this. I was reminded why I like this camera so much for stills also. It was the perfect tool to capture images on my trip to the event.
Here are those images.
And we arrived at the event. Not many more pics. A couple as we did the sound check. Then I forgot to take the video and put it away after that.
Thoughts.
Quite a capable little camera.
Happy capturing.
