Scenes Seen Bender: RICOH GRIIIx.

…I had been on quite a tear.
But after the new thing pixie dust wore off I landed back in the same old place.
As much as I like my A7C II, it is half of my main kit. I am not a huge fan of using gear I need for “real work” for everyday use. A personal thing. At the end of the day, using a not-so-easy-to-replace cost-wise camera and lens combination for daily work is not something I want to continue doing. Above wear and tear, I have been known to get way too comfortable with the cameras I take with me everywhere while going about my daily tasks. This has led to me being far less careful than I should be. Makes no sense, but I have left both the Leica Q I had and the first A7C at two different grocery stores as I was preparing to leave. Both times, I had to speed and jump curbs to get back to the stores. And both times I was able to retrieve them, fortunately.
So, I pivoted back to a camera I prefer for such outings. I really like this camera.
As stated previously, this is the daily carry, stealthy, and compact camera I have been looking for. This here post was out and about. I.E. The exact use case intended for this camera.
But this is not a replacement for an EVF having daily solution. More to come on that.
Until then I will share images from the bender I went on once I started using this camera again. Nothing Earth shattering. Repeat scenes aplenty. The usual stuff. Scenes seen
Thoughts.
One word. Fun. This camera is fun. Not a spec thing. Not about pixel peeping. An experience thing. And I enjoy using this camera, and I like the images it produces.
Happy capturing.
