Scenes Seen: A New Favorite Viltrox Mirrorless Nifty Fifty.
I recently wrote my first post on this lens.
I did not mention another Vitrox 50mm lens, the Viltrox 50mm f/1.8. A fine lens. But the f/2 is where it is at for me.
It is still early yet. I may still be in the honeymoon phase. But it is still all roses for me currently. Here are scenes seen since that past post.
Thoughts.
After all of the lenses I have gone through that I thought may be the one, the nifty fifty for Sony, I have been looking for.
- Silent and accurate AF.
- A bit clickity for video I now realize. Not awful, but an off camera mic would solve this.
- Sharp.
- Nice colors.
- Nice bokeh.
- Small and light without feeling cheap.
- All for a reasonable price.
Again, I have said this before. Time will tell.
