100 Men In Black Male Chorus Ensemble + GFX.
Like it says on the tin. Captured chorus…
…rehearsal with the GFX. Paired it with the GF 80mm f/1.7.
Is it overkill to use this set up for standard every day snaps?
Yes.
Did I do so anyway?
Yep.
Here we go.
Thoughts.
I mentioned above that using such a setup for everyday snaps is overkill. But that is a very me thing to do.
What is actually surprising is that such a powerful setup is so easy to use.
A massive sensor that produces amazing amounts of detail. But it brings none of the compromises once considered necessary to accomplish this. Focus quickly. Writes the files quickly considering what is going on here. It not that large. Barely larger than full frame mirrorless cameras. Around the same size as some DSLRs and smaller than many. And purchased used, both the price of the lens and the camera are not out of line with higher-end full-frame gear. Less than more premium and luxury brand options.
What a great camera and lens. That is all.
Happy capturing.
