One Photo Story: I Am Often Surprised By What Resonates With Others.
One consistency throughout my photography journey is my inability to predict what will resonate with others. I have given thought to being selective about what I post. Many times, what to leave out is pretty obvious. Sometimes I am right. This is one photo that I knew was something special when I took from the balcony of my sister in law’s apartment in The Bronx.
Many have taken a liking to it since, and recently it was the first photo of mine that ever sold a print.
But often, pictures that registered no more than a “That seems okay ” are ones that others really like. For example I regularly post to the Lomography website. A very friendly film community. I recently posted this picture.

That in short order racked up 87 likes.

In two days or so it is now my second most liked photo of all time on my Lomography profile.

Nice.
Thoughts.
Er… Post stuff and see what happens rather than trying to predict what moves other?…
Yeah. No Earth-shattering insights here. Have fun. Appease yourself. Amuse yourself. Post some stuff. Perhaps others will join in. Maybe not. Either way, you had fun in the neantime.
That wraps this one up.
Happy capturing.
