Analog Therapy: Rollei 35AF – Japan Camera Hunter Streetpan 400.

This is my first roll of B&W film for the Rollei 35AF. The new arrival pixie dust has started to clear, but I will keep it brief since a formal post will be up around the same time as this one. I can say that my thoughts align with the “So…” post I wrote a while back.

Rollei 35AF

The film this go around is Japan Camera Hunter Streetpan 400. A little daring of me because this is the first time I am trying this film. But this camera is so solid I was not really worried. Developed at home with Cinestill df96.

Occasion. A few were taken while running errands a day before and I took it with as my chorus sang at an awards event this evening.

Here are the surviving pics.

Thoughts on the film.

I like it. I would happily use it again.

Light is this film’s friend, however. (Like all fim I suppose.) Due to my desire for stealth, I did not use flash. In the low-light award ceremony venue this did not work out. I believe flash would have done the trick. No fault of the camera or film so I only kept the one pic of the chair above. Otherwise, the film performed wonderfully.

Happy capturing.
