Analog Therapy/Color Film Used w/ B&W Intentions: Fujifilm GA645 – Lomography 100.

As stated on Instagram…

Then my Southeastern Camera store friend Karen declared…

…so I did.

Was using the Fujifilm GA645.

Fujifilm GA645 Professional
Fujifilm GA645

Thought I had CATLabs Xfilm 320 loaded. I use ISO 100 because I find it plays well with Cinestill df96. But when I opened the camera back a bit I immediately saw that this was Lomography 100 color film. Odd. But makes a bit of sense. If I had used CATLabs I would have put the film box insert in the back of the camera. Anyhoo.

I put away the Cinestll df96 and started heating up the Cinestill CS41.

I captured most images below as a part of a three camera bender at Duke Gardens. Here are the surviving pics.

The camera and film?

Fantastic as usual.

The question I had?

I do see a difference. Without color as a point of interest crutch I will often look for other things, like framing objects in the foreground and background. One example is the photo of the statue from the front with a flower in the foreground. Looking at these images I will try to introduce elements like this in my color photos from here on also. I also noticed that for the first time I leaned into the default portrait orientation of the GA645. I did not take a single image in landscape. Cool. Anyhoo.

Another successful analog therapy session.

Happy capturing.
