I said in an earlier post that if my goal was to burn through 120 film at an unprecedented pace the GA645 has been a roaring success.
I may have taken this too far yesterday. Four rolls of film in about the same amount of hours or less.
I have a few local haunts that I use as baseline testing sites for new to me gear. Even though it was just above brick (Where I am located anyway.) I decided to layer up and hit a few of them in one day yesterday. Was on a food run errand for the Mrs. while I was at it.
As also mentioned previously I have had a larger than usual number of self owns with this camera. So I took care and paid close attention to what I was doing and was successful. No silly unforced errors this time out.
- Took my time loading film so no fat roll issues.
- Remembered to adjust the ISO when loading a new roll of film.
- No absent minded opening of a loaded camera while taking product pics.
- Unlike most of my film cameras this one has stayed loaded with film so I will let this go for now.
Cool.
For this roll I went with a recent favorite black and white film a spin, Foma Fomapan 100, and it was developed with Cinestill df96. While I have not gotten on well with Fomapan 400, Fomapan 200 is my favorite, but Fomapan 100 is not far behind Fomapan 200 in my book. Will stick to Fomapn 200 and 100 moving forward. I started my trek at Duke Gardens, the place where I try out gear most often. Here are the surviving pics from the roll.
A good result.
While I am having a lot of fun this could get pricey if I keep this pace up. But I am not bothered by that all for now.
Happy capturing.
