This is a new series I was inspired to start because of this man. My dearly departed Father.
This series primarily lives on Instagram and Threads for now and will be lifting up images of us as I see us free of the negative stereotypes, slander, and assumptions placed on us by others and too often adopted by our own who by way of taught self-loathing are hesitant to see or believe in their own greatness. I was initially torn between two hashtags to use but after realizing the other option was a thing already I settled on my first choice, #lensofrespect . Have been posting an image daily for now but make no promises of future editions. A few multi-picture submissions have already come to mind, but they may be turned into multi-day submissions as well. My current thinking is that I would like each image to have its own moment of consideration and contemplation.
